Bird’s eye view at LAX: Managing dozens of projects with CPM|axis

Los Angeles International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world…and preparing to get a lot busier. Capo Projects Group is using CPM|axis to manage all scheduling needs for Myers-Griffith Joint Venture, the prime contractor for the LULEP program, a series of projects all focused on getting the airport ready for a massive multi-billion upgrade to ingress and egress from the airport as well as movement within the airport.

As of the time of this writing, there are 22 active projects within the LULEP program, with 12 already done and 14 more planned but not yet started. Adam Trimm, senior scheduler for Capo Projects Group and a founder of CPM|axis, designed several program-level summary dashboards that are now standard with CPM|axis, and used at management meetings every week to give a high-level view of the status of each project.
